The Journey Continues for martial arts expert James Moclair Soke Shodia 10th Dan.

After forty five years of practicing and teaching martial arts, you would think that all that could be achieved would have been achieved. But for one devoted Dudley enthusiast the accomplishments of one man keep increasing upward.

James Moclair now aged 58 has now had his third martial arts book published. His latest book is about the ancient Martial art of Ju-Jutsu. It is a comprehensive guide that takes the reader through the all essential basics of martial arts etiquette and then continues to explain in clear detail each element that makes Ju-Jutsu techniques so effective as a comprehensive self defence system.

One of the reason James wanted to write this book is James feels that through modern media Ju-Jutsu is been portrayed as a overall grappling system that is effective for ground fighting only but, in reality this is not the case. Ju-Jutsu has through its heritage has been a fighting system that was engaged by the Samurai warrior. It is renowned for its fierce joint locks, limitless throwing techniques, devastating immobilisation techniques; strategy in multiple attack defences and its ferocious weapon disarm techniques. James has portrayed this fighting spirit in his book.

James’s achievements have not stopped with the publication of this latest book. James in the last nine months has also completed seventeen instructional DVD’s on the various martial arts he teaches. These have proved so popular that in co-ordination with an American martial arts association, Chunjido International. Three of the systems James’s teaches, Ju-Jutsu, Aiki-Jutsu and Kempo Karate are now online for students all over the world to enrol in. James believes he is one of the first in the United Kingdom to do this.

Over the next week, James will be doing a daily book signing at his Dudley based Martial Arts Centre. You can also buy any of James’s books to order from any good book shop or go online where 23,000 outlets around the world will be able to have them delivered to your door.
